#Gate60MillionUsers

I still remember the night I first landed on Gate in early 2020. The world had suddenly changed, markets were falling, and Bitcoin was still something I watched from a distance. I had read about crypto for years, but I had never actually placed a trade. That night, sitting alone with nothing but curiosity and a lot of questions, I decided that if I really wanted to understand cryptocurrency, I had to stop watching from the sidelines. I opened Gate, created my account, completed the security steps, and unknowingly started a journey that would become one of the most memorable chapters of my life.

My first deposit was small, but it felt enormous because it was the first time I was putting real money into a market I barely understood. I remember watching the pending transaction again and again, refreshing the screen and wondering whether my money would actually arrive. When the balance finally appeared, I smiled. It was not a fortune, but it represented my first real step into crypto.

Then came my first trade. I bought Bitcoin because I wanted to begin with the asset that had introduced me to cryptocurrency. I checked the amount several times before finally pressing confirm. I stared at the chart waiting for something dramatic to happen, but Bitcoin did not care that a new trader had just entered the market. The price moved slightly, my position remained open, and I spent far too much time watching every little candle. After about a week, I sold for a small profit. It was barely enough for a decent meal, but to me it felt like I had discovered the secret of trading. I remember thinking, “Maybe I am actually good at this.” Looking back, that confidence was probably more dangerous than the trade itself.

A few months later, I discovered leverage. I understood the exciting part immediately: bigger positions and bigger potential profits. The dangerous part took longer to understand. One night, while I was tired, I accidentally placed an order with an extra zero. For a few terrifying seconds, I was looking at a position much larger than I intended. My heart moved faster than the chart. I cancelled it immediately. Nothing happened, and the market did not even notice my mistake, but I spent the rest of the night checking my account. That was one of my first lessons: sometimes the biggest risk is not the market, but the person behind the screen.

Then came my famous panic sell. I had carefully built a position over weeks, but one morning I woke up to a frightening headline and convinced myself that everything was about to collapse. Before I had even finished my coffee, I sold. For twenty minutes I felt extremely smart. Then the market reversed and started climbing. It crossed my old entry, then my original target, and kept going. I sat there calculating how much my fear had cost me. That day taught me that trading is not only about knowing when to buy or sell. It is about controlling your emotions when the market becomes uncomfortable.

The memecoin chapter was another unforgettable lesson. Someone convinced me that a dog-themed coin was going to change global finance. I knew the argument sounded ridiculous, but I bought it anyway. For weeks nothing happened, then suddenly everything happened. The price exploded and I briefly felt like a genius. Eventually it came back down, and I learned one of the hardest lessons in trading: a profit is not really yours until you take it.

I even managed to buy the wrong coin once. I had researched a project for days, memorized its ticker and felt completely prepared. Then I typed a similar ticker, confirmed the order and realized seconds later that I had bought something completely different. There was no market crash or technical problem. I had simply failed to double-check. Since then, I have always believed that checking the ticker, network and order details twice is far better than explaining an unnecessary mistake later.
The difficult market periods taught me even more. When charts kept falling and confidence disappeared, I learned that patience is also a strategy. I learned that staring at the price every five minutes does not change the market. I learned that losses can become valuable tuition if you actually learn from them. Most importantly, I learned that surviving the market is more important than trying to win every single trade.

But after all these years, the thing I value most is the community. I have met traders from different countries, shared charts, discussed opportunities, celebrated green candles and survived red ones with people I never expected to meet. We have made predictions that were completely wrong, celebrated the rare ones that worked, and kept learning together. That community became an important part of my journey.

And today, seeing Gate reach 60 million users makes this journey feel even more special. When I joined in 2020, I could never have imagined seeing Gate grow into a global community of 60 million users. Sixty million is not just a number. Behind it are millions of first deposits, first trades, first profits, painful losses, late-night chart sessions, lessons, friendships and dreams. Somewhere inside those 60 million stories is mine too.

My story started with a beginner who barely understood the market, a small Bitcoin trade and a lot of nervousness. Since then, I have made mistakes, learned lessons, taken profits, experienced losses and slowly become more disciplined. I am still learning because the market never stops teaching.

When I look back at 2020, I realize I did not simply open a Gate account that night. I opened the door to a journey that changed the way I understand markets, risk, patience and myself. From one nervous beginner to one of 60 million users, the journey has been unforgettable.

Congratulations to Gate on reaching 60 million users, and congratulations to every trader, investor, creator and beginner whose story is now part of that number. My story began with a tiny Bitcoin trade and shaking hands. The next chapter is still being written.
