🎊 Congratulations Gate on Reaching 60 Million Users Worldwide! 💙

60 million users is not just a number — it represents millions of different journeys, first trades, unexpected wins, painful losses, funny mistakes, and unforgettable moments. I joined Gate in 2024, and honestly, when I look back at my first trade, I still laugh at how quickly I managed to turn excitement into a lesson. 😂

My first trade was made using a Futures Position Experience Voucher. At that time, Gate had weekly selections, and I was lucky enough to receive a $50 Futures Position Experience Voucher. I was extremely excited because, as a new user, getting that voucher felt like a perfect opportunity to experience futures trading without worrying too much about the money. I ended up trading around $70, thinking I was ready to handle the market like a professional trader. Looking back now, that confidence was definitely much bigger than my experience. 😂

But the funniest part came after that. When the voucher was about to expire, I made one of those decisions that only a beginner can make with complete confidence: instead of stopping and thinking about what I had just learned, I opened another trade within just 15 minutes. At that moment, I thought I was being smart and taking another opportunity. In reality, it turned into one of my biggest beginner lessons. The market moved against me so quickly that within those same 15 minutes, almost everything disappeared, and only around $10 was left. 😂

At the time, I was honestly shocked. I was probably thinking, “How did this happen so quickly?” But today, whenever I remember that first trade and the decision I made just 15 minutes later, I cannot help but laugh. 😂 It was painful at the time, but it became one of those trading memories that stays with you forever.

That first experience taught me something that charts and indicators cannot teach on their own: excitement is not a strategy, and having an opportunity does not mean you have to take every trade.

So, Gate, if you ask me whether I still remember my first trade — absolutely YES! I remember the $50 Futures Position Experience Voucher, the roughly $70 trade, the second trade I opened just 15 minutes later, and the moment when I realized that only around $10 was left. 😂 It was probably one of the fastest trading lessons of my life, but it is also one of the stories I enjoy remembering the most.

Since 2024, my journey with Gate has continued through many different market conditions, trades, opportunities and experiences. Markets have changed, strategies have changed, and most importantly, I have changed as a trader.

The biggest difference between then and now is that I understand much better that trading is not about trying to win every single move. It is about patience, discipline, risk management and knowing when NOT to trade.

My first trade may not have been my smartest trade, but it definitely became one of my most memorable ones. And honestly, if I could go back to 2024 and meet my beginner self, I would probably say just one thing:

“Bro… please don't open another trade after 15 minutes.” 😂😂
