🧠 ETH Is More Than a Price Chart

Ethereum's biggest asset isn't simply its token price — it's the infrastructure built around the network.
Ethereum provides the base layer for:
DeFi
Stablecoins
Tokenized assets
Smart contracts
Layer-2 networks
Staking
Staking directly connects ETH ownership with network security. Validators participate in proposing and attesting to blocks, and native validators need ETH deposited into the consensus system to do it.
So when analyzing ETH, I wouldn't look at price alone. I'd track:
ETH price
Staking participation
L2 activity
DeFi usage
Stablecoin activity
That's the difference between trading a ticker and understanding an ecosystem.
Which ETH metric matters most to you?

Only if DeFi TVL recovers can the ETH narrative be considered truly revived.

Prices, staking, L2, DeFi, and stablecoins are all heating up across five dimensions, so ETH analysis is finally no longer single-threaded.

I keep an eye on stablecoin circulation—it’s the lifeblood of the on-chain economy.

The growth rate in the number of validators has slowed, and decentralization will need to be monitored continuously.

Smart contract deployment volume actually reflects builder confidence better than price.

As for tokenized assets, if RWA takes off this year, ETH’s foundational value will be secure.

At the current APY, staking yields are not even as good as wealth management products. You have to take the long view.

Well said, but retail investors only look at candlestick charts; ecosystem data is too counterintuitive.
