#EventContracts1%Reward BTC & ETH Prices Are Moving My Strategy for the Trading Carnival
The crypto market is creating fresh short-term opportunities, and the Event Contract Trading Carnival has arrived at a time when both Bitcoin and Ethereum are showing significant volatility.
The event runs from August 26, 14:00 to September 2, 08:00 (UTC+8) and gives traders an opportunity to participate in the 1% trading-volume reward competition while trading major cryptocurrencies.
The campaign also includes a 5.5 USDT first-trade welcome gift for eligible new users, a chance to share a 10,000 USDT prize pool by completing three days of check-ins, and trading-tier rewards of up to 70 USDT.
But for me, the most exciting part is finding real opportunities in BTC and ETH while keeping risk under control.
Bitcoin: Around $78,000
BTC is currently trading around $78,000. Recently, Bitcoin tested levels above $81,000 before experiencing a sharp pullback, showing how quickly the market can change.
The important levels I am watching are:
Current area: $78,000
Support: $77,000
Next support: $75,000
Major lower zone: $72,000–$73,000
On the upside, I am watching:
$80,000 → $81,000 → $83,000 → $85,000
From approximately $78,000:
A move to $80,000 represents around +2.6%.
A move to $83,000 represents around +6.4%.
A move to $85,000 represents roughly +9%.
My approach is to watch whether BTC can successfully reclaim the $80,000 area.
If buyers establish strength above that level, momentum could improve significantly.
But if BTC loses $77,000 with strong selling pressure, I would become more cautious.
Ethereum: Around $2,456
ETH is currently trading near $2,456. The recent price action has been highly volatile, with ETH reaching above $2,550 during the past few sessions before pulling back toward the current area.
The levels I am watching are:
Current area: $2,456
First support: $2,400
Next support: $2,300
Major resistance: $2,500–$2,550
Then:
$2,700
From approximately $2,456:
$2,500 = around +1.8%
$2,550 = around +3.8%
$2,700 = around +9.9%
For me, ETH becomes more interesting if it can reclaim and hold above the $2,500–$2,550 zone.
My Trading Approach
During this event, I am focusing on quality opportunities rather than unnecessary trading volume.
My approach is simple:
I watch the market direction first.
I identify important support and resistance.
I wait for price confirmation.
I avoid chasing sudden green candles.
And I manage risk carefully.
For BTC, my attention is on whether the price can recover $80,000.
For ETH, I am watching whether buyers can regain $2,500.
If the market confirms strength, I will look for continuation.
If the market becomes weak, I will respect support levels instead of forcing a trade.
My View on Long and Short Opportunities
I do not believe traders should enter every position in the same direction.
A long opportunity becomes more interesting to me when a major resistance is successfully reclaimed with strong momentum.
A short-term bearish opportunity becomes more relevant if important support breaks and sellers remain in control.
The key is confirmation.
BTC bullish focus: $80,000 → $83,000 → $85,000
BTC risk zones: $77,000 → $75,000 → $73,000
ETH bullish focus: $2,500 → $2,550 → $2,700
ETH risk zones: $2,400 → $2,300
These are market levels I am watching rather than guaranteed outcomes.
My Risk Management
This is the most important part of my trading strategy.
A reward campaign can be exciting, but I never want excitement to replace discipline.
My rules are:
Do not use excessive leverage.
Do not put all capital into one position.
Do not chase a move after a major percentage increase.
Protect profits when the market reaches important resistance.
Accept small losses when the original market idea becomes invalid.
For me, protecting capital is more important than forcing a trade.
My Thoughts for Trading Friends
BTC around $78,000 and ETH around $2,456 are creating an interesting market environment, but volatility remains high.
My advice is:
Do not trade only to increase volume.
Trade when you understand the setup.
Watch BTC because it often determines overall market direction.
Watch ETH because strong momentum can create additional opportunities.
And always respect risk.
My Focus for the Remaining Event Period
My eyes are on:
BTC: $78,000 → $80,000 → $83,000 → $85,000
ETH: $2,456 → $2,500 → $2,550 → $2,700
At the same time, I am carefully watching:
BTC: $77,000 → $75,000
ETH: $2,400 → $2,300
The market can move quickly, which makes this event an exciting opportunity to test trading discipline and market analysis.
The reward structure is attractive, but my biggest priority remains making smart decisions.
My strategy is simple:
Study the market.
Wait for confirmation.
Enter with discipline.
Manage risk.
Protect capital.
And never let FOMO control the trade.
