#EventContracts1%Reward Event Contracts Carnival: 1% Trading Rewards Meet a $200,000 Prize Pool
Gate’s Event Contracts Carnival is now underway, turning short-term market predictions into a trading-volume competition. The campaign runs from August 26 to September 2, with a total 200,000 USDT reward pool across four incentive tracks. The official announcement confirms that the event covers newcomer benefits, peak trading rewards, tiered daily volume rewards and daily check-in sharing.
The headline incentive is the 1% trading-volume reward. The peak leaderboard carries a 100,000 USDT prize pool, while eligible participants who do not receive leaderboard rewards can share another 50,000 USDT pool according to their proportion of qualifying trading volume, subject to the campaign limits. This makes the event less about one lucky trade and more about sustained participation and measurable volume.
There is also a separate daily-volume structure. Traders reaching 500 USDT daily volume can qualify for a 2.5 USDT reward, while 1,000 USDT daily volume can qualify for 10 USDT. Meeting the requirements across multiple days creates another path toward rewards, with the highest daily tier potentially reaching 70 USDT over the full campaign period.
The check-in mechanism adds another layer. Completing at least 3 trades and 20 USDT daily volume counts toward the check-in requirement, and users who accumulate at least three qualifying days can participate in the 10,000 USDT check-in pool. The structure therefore rewards consistency rather than simply chasing a single large position.
For new Event Contracts users, Gate is also offering a 5.5 USDT Event Contract experience voucher under a separate new-user campaign. The official announcement says eligible users must have no previous Event Contracts trading history before the campaign began, and the voucher is distributed after registration while supplies last.
What makes Event Contracts different is the way a trade is structured: instead of simply buying or selling the underlying asset, users predict whether an event outcome will occur within the selected contract conditions. That makes risk awareness especially important because a prediction can move against the trader quickly.
My biggest takeaway from this campaign is that the 1% headline should not be viewed in isolation. The real opportunity structure is a combination of peak-volume competition, daily thresholds and consistency-based rewards. Traders should understand the contract mechanics first, calculate the potential downside and avoid increasing position size simply to chase a leaderboard.
With 200,000 USDT available across the campaign, the competition is clearly designed to turn Event Contracts into a high-activity trading arena. The question now is not simply who trades the most, but who can combine volume, discipline and risk control most effectively.
