Behind the scenes of the balance sheet: Nvidia is no longer just selling chips; it's financing the entire AI ecosystem. The company has $99 billion in equity investments and $108 billion in commitments. Receivables surged to $63 billion; DSO (time to collect) increased from 45 days to 60 days. CFO Colette Kress explained this as "extended payment terms for large investing customers."

So what does this mean? Nvidia is financing its own demand by offering large customers a "buy first, pay later" option. Operational cash flow fell 52% quarter-on-quarter. This indicates that growth is being supported by a "financial subsidy."

New move: Hugging Face acquisition — Nvidia is reportedly acquiring the open-source AI platform for $12.9 billion. This could be a shift towards its "AI cloud" strategy and an insurance plan to assess the capacity it finances.
