#Gate股票观点挑战 +$MRVL Inside the Google Deal: Why MRVL’s $120 Billion Pipeline Changes the Game

Marvell Technology enters this earnings cycle with something much bigger than a single quarterly number hanging over the stock: a potentially transformative relationship with Google. The expanded partnership announced in August has become one of the most important pieces of the MRVL bull thesis because it connects Marvell directly to Google’s custom AI infrastructure roadmap through fiscal 2033. With MRVL recently trading around the $245 area, the market is no longer valuing Marvell purely on today’s revenue. Investors are increasingly trying to estimate how much of this long-term AI silicon opportunity can actually become future revenue.

The headline figure is enormous: Google could purchase up to $120 billion of custom silicon from Marvell over the life of the agreement. The partnership covers custom silicon associated with Google’s AI ecosystem, including inference accelerators, storage controllers, networking and memory-interface products. To align the two companies further, Marvell issued Google a warrant to purchase up to approximately 59 million MRVL shares, representing roughly 7% of the company, at an exercise price of $206.58 per share. The important detail is that the warrant is tied to cumulative revenue milestones. In other words, the potential share ownership is connected to business performance rather than simply being an unconditional equity award.

That structure makes the deal particularly interesting. Google is not merely another hyperscale customer in this arrangement; it becomes financially aligned with Marvell’s long-term success. Google has historically been strongly associated with Broadcom for custom AI-chip development, so Marvell gaining a deeper position inside the TPU ecosystem represents a meaningful competitive development. The market reaction also highlighted that competitive angle, with Broadcom facing renewed investor scrutiny as the custom-AI silicon landscape becomes more diversified.

For Marvell, the potential revenue trajectory is what ultimately matters. Management has indicated that its custom AI ASIC/XPU business could double next year to more than $4 billion, before potentially exceeding $10 billion in calendar 2028. Those numbers should be viewed as forward-looking targets rather than guaranteed outcomes, because they depend on successful execution, customer deployment schedules and continued hyperscaler investment. Some external estimates have gone even further, suggesting that a successful Google ramp could potentially lift Marvell’s 2032 revenue from approximately $43 billion toward $62 billion. The valuation argument therefore depends heavily on whether the theoretical pipeline turns into actual shipments and recurring demand.

The institutional picture adds another layer. Hedge-fund ownership reportedly increased to 95 holders from 79 in the latest quarter, while several large funds materially increased their positions. At the same time, short interest is only around 4% of the float, suggesting that bearish positioning has become relatively limited. Analyst sentiment is also broadly constructive, with a strong-buy leaning and an average target around $275, although analyst targets should never be treated as guaranteed price outcomes.

Technically, the roughly $245 area is therefore important because the stock has already priced in a considerable amount of optimism. The market needs evidence that the fundamental story is progressing rather than simply becoming larger on paper. A sustained move above the recent $245–$250 zone could strengthen momentum and put the $275 analyst target into focus. A stronger breakout could eventually bring higher psychological levels into consideration, but confirmation through volume and forward guidance would be important.

On the other hand, failure to hold the current recovery area would remind investors that a $120 billion long-term pipeline does not automatically protect the stock from short-term valuation compression. The market could become more sensitive to execution delays, weaker AI-capex growth, margin pressure or slower custom-silicon adoption. The warrant itself also should not be interpreted as guaranteed value for shareholders because its vesting depends on revenue milestones that still have to be achieved.

This is ultimately the most important distinction in the MRVL story: the Google deal is real, but the full $120 billion opportunity is future-dependent.

Marvell has gained a potentially differentiated position in one of the world’s largest AI-computing ecosystems, and the relationship could significantly expand its custom-silicon opportunity through 2033. But investors still need to see the pipeline convert into purchase orders, shipments, revenue and eventually earnings.

At approximately $245, I would therefore focus less on the headline size of the partnership and more on the evidence that monetization is accelerating. The key signals are custom-AI revenue growth, Google-related execution, hyperscaler spending, margins and management’s forward guidance.

The market has already heard the $120 billion number.

Now it wants proof of how much of that number can become real revenue.

That is where MRVL’s next phase will be decided.
