#EliteTraderChampionship
The Elite Trader Championship is structured as a multi-layer trading competition combining Futures and CFD lead trading, with performance measured through a system called Firepower Points.
The scoring model separates the two markets by volume. Futures lead volume contributes 1 Firepower Point for every 10,000 USDT in qualifying volume, while CFD lead volume contributes 1 point for every 50,000 USDT. This difference means the two markets are not measured on identical volume thresholds.
Volume is only one part of the scoring system. Firepower Points can also be influenced by lead-trader profitability, copier performance and the number of active copiers. This creates a broader performance framework where activity, results and copier engagement all contribute to leaderboard positioning.
The competition operates on both weekly and monthly cycles. Weekly points reset at the end of each period, meaning every new week creates a separate leaderboard race. Monthly points, meanwhile, accumulate throughout a 28-day window, placing greater emphasis on sustained performance rather than a single strong week.
The stated weekly reward pool is 8,000 USDT. The monthly pool can reach up to 300,000 USDT, with the published structure allocating 60% toward the top 30 lead traders and 40% toward eligible copiers. The event materials describe total rewards around a 500,000 USDT overall pool.
There is also a recognition component beyond the reward pools. According to the event information, leading monthly performers may receive badges, custom trophies, homepage exposure, livestream opportunities, limited merchandise and a pathway toward an invitation to the Gate Annual Gala. These elements make the competition partly about visibility and reputation within the trading community.
The copier structure introduces another layer. The campaign information states that eligible new users without previous Futures copy-trading history may have access to a 20 USDT copy bonus, subject to availability and campaign conditions. There is also stated first-copy loss protection of up to 20 USDT on qualifying trades, plus a 15 USDT position voucher associated with the campaign’s sharing mechanism. These are promotional campaign conditions, not general guarantees of protection.
The monthly copier pool is linked to the amount of qualifying volume copied under successful lead traders. This means the competition is not designed solely around lead-trader rankings; copier activity is also incorporated into the monthly reward structure.
From an analytical perspective, the most important feature is the combination of multiple performance indicators. A trader generating large volume may accumulate points, but volume by itself does not demonstrate profitability or risk-adjusted performance. Likewise, attracting many copiers does not necessarily mean that a strategy is sustainable.
That distinction matters because Futures and CFDs can involve leverage, rapid price movements and substantial losses. A high leaderboard position should therefore not be interpreted as evidence that a strategy is suitable for every trader.
The championship essentially creates three separate dimensions of performance: lead-trader activity, trading results and copier engagement. Weekly rankings emphasize short-term consistency, while the 28-day structure gives the monthly leaderboard a longer performance horizon.
The bigger takeaway is that trading competitions can make performance highly visible, but the most meaningful metrics remain consistency, drawdown control, risk management and whether results can be maintained across different market conditions.
Always check the official event rules for eligibility, qualifying volume, point calculations, reward limits and protection conditions before relying on any campaign headline.
