NAS100 Market Analysis — August 25, 2026
NAS100 is trading around 29,193, with the market showing a strong recovery tone after the recent technology-sector weakness.
The broader setup is currently cautiously bullish, especially as Nasdaq futures have rebounded strongly today.
Recent market data shows Nasdaq-100 futures moving above 29,200, while the latest session has seen the contract trade in the 29,190–29,425 area.
The key driver right now is the technology and semiconductor complex.
Nvidia’s upcoming earnings are a major catalyst because expectations for AI-related growth remain extremely high.
Semiconductor stocks have recovered sharply today, while lower Treasury yields are also helping growth and technology shares.
The 10-year Treasury yield has moved down toward 4.67%, creating a more supportive environment for high-growth equities.
At 29,193, NAS100 is sitting near an important decision zone.
The first support is around 29,100–29,150. A stronger support zone is 28,900–29,000, followed by 28,650–28,750.
As long as price remains above 29,000, buyers have a technical advantage.
A sustained break below 28,900 would weaken the bullish structure and could open the door toward 28,650 and potentially 28,400.
On the upside, the first resistance is 29,300–29,400.
A clean breakout above 29,400 could accelerate momentum toward 29,550–29,650.
Above that zone, 29,800 becomes the next psychological target, while 30,000 is the major breakout level.
If NAS100 establishes strong acceptance above 30,000, the next extended upside area could be around 30,250–30,500.
My short-term forecast is therefore moderately bullish.
From the current 29,193 level, a realistic first upside objective is 29,500, representing roughly +1.05%.
A move toward 29,800 would be approximately +2.08%, while 30,000 would represent about +2.76%.
An aggressive continuation scenario could push toward 30,250–30,500, equal to roughly +3.62% to +4.48% from the current level.
Trading strategy:
I would avoid chasing a large green candle directly into resistance.
The preferred bullish setup is either a controlled pullback toward 29,050–29,150 followed by a confirmed rebound, or a breakout above 29,400 with sustained momentum.
For a breakout trade, confirmation above 29,400 is more important than simply touching that level.
Bullish risk-management plan: SL1: 29,000 SL2: 28,850 SL3: 28,650
Take-profit levels: TP1: 29,400 TP2: 29,650 TP3: 30,000
For an aggressive breakout strategy, a move above 29,650 could justify holding a portion of the position toward 29,800–30,000.
Once price moves decisively above 29,500, traders can consider protecting part of the position by moving the stop toward the entry area.
Market sentiment is currently cautiously bullish rather than extremely bullish.
The recovery in semiconductor stocks, falling Treasury yields and stronger Nasdaq futures are positive signals.
However, the market is highly sensitive to Nvidia’s earnings and upcoming inflation data, so volatility can increase sharply.
Reuters notes that Nvidia’s results are viewed as a major test for the AI-driven rally, while investors are also watching inflation and Federal Reserve policy signals.
The main scenario I am watching is simple: above 29,000, buyers retain control and the market can attempt 29,400 → 29,650 → 30,000.
A decisive break above 30,000 would significantly strengthen the bullish structure and potentially extend the move toward 30,250–30,500.
On the other hand, losing 28,900 would invalidate the immediate bullish setup and shift attention toward 28,650 and 28,400.
Overall, NAS100 remains in a potentially attractive bullish setup, but confirmation is essential. Current price: 29,193.
Near-term forecast: 29,500–29,800.
Bullish extension:
30,000–30,500.
Key support:
29,100 / 28,900 / 28,650.
Key resistance:
29,400 / 29,650 / 30,000.
The next major move is likely to be determined by whether buyers can convert 29,400 from resistance into support.
