⚠️ ETH Loses $2,480 — Now the Market Has to Prove This Dip Can Hold

Ethereum (ETH) powers one of crypto’s largest smart-contract ecosystems, with ETH used for transactions, staking and network activity.
ETH is trading near $2,456, down roughly 1% today.
The session first stretched above $2,520, but that move was quickly rejected.
A second attempt around $2,510 also failed, leaving progressively weaker highs behind.
The bigger change came when ETH slipped beneath the $2,482 previous-close area and couldn’t establish itself back above it.
Price then worked through $2,470 and has now reached the day’s lower area around $2,456–$2,460.
Yet the wider numbers tell a different story: ETH remains up about 28.5% weekly, 31.2% monthly and 19.4% over six months.
So this chart is showing a strong broader performer going through a clear intraday correction—not yet proof that the larger advance has ended.
🔴 Short-Term: $2,450–$2,460 is the immediate test; recovery toward $2,470–$2,482 would ease pressure.
🟠 Mid-Term: A return above $2,482 opens room toward $2,495–$2,510.
🟢 Long-Term: Restoring $2,510 puts the $2,520+ region back in play.
🌐 Market Signal: Sellers currently control the intraday structure below $2,482, while the broader performance remains constructive. $2,450 is now the level that matters most.#BTCBreaks$81k #CandyDrop1BTCForOldUsers #StakeALIGNShare10MTokens #TopFiveLeaguesPreMatchPredictor #GateStockInsightsChallenge $ETH

If 450 fails to hold, the deep waters are next.

Every time they say, “prove that the retracement can hold,” it ends up not holding. This time it’s back to 450 again—the same old script.

Each high is lower than the last, which is not a good sign. If this rebound fails to reclaim 2480, I’ll stay on the sidelines for now.

It’s still up 28% on the weekly chart—just an intraday pullback. Don’t scare yourself; let’s see whether 450 can hold.
