LIT/USDT — Strong Momentum, but $3.57 Is the Immediate Battle
LIT is showing a strong move on the Gate futures screen, trading around $3.562 and up 10.52%. The move has clearly attracted momentum traders, but after a double-digit rally, the next phase is more important than the move that already happened. Buyers now need to prove they can hold the higher range instead of allowing early longs to turn the rally into a quick profit-taking event.
The immediate order-book structure is interesting. The visible sell side becomes heavier around $3.564–$3.567, while buyers are showing stronger bids around $3.556–$3.558. This creates a very tight short-term battle. If buyers absorb the offers above $3.56 and push through $3.57, the market could begin searching for the next liquidity pocket rather quickly.
The first confirmation zone is therefore $3.57–$3.60. A sustained move above $3.60 would be more meaningful than simply touching it because $3.60 is a clean psychological level. If that area turns into support, the next upside region would come into focus around $3.70–$3.80, depending on how much momentum remains behind the move.
On the other side, $3.55 is the first level I would defend. Losing $3.55 after repeated rejection around $3.57 would suggest that sellers are beginning to absorb the recent buying pressure. Below that, $3.50 becomes the next important psychological support, and a deeper breakdown would indicate that the current momentum phase is losing its structure.
Funding is currently displayed at +0.0050%, meaning longs are paying shorts at the current funding rate. The rate itself is not extreme, but it matters because LIT has already rallied more than 10%. If funding becomes increasingly positive while price struggles to make new highs, leveraged longs could become crowded and increase the risk of a sharp pullback.
The order-book indicator currently shows approximately 42% buy versus 58% sell. I would not interpret this as 58% of traders being short; it is an order-flow indicator rather than a complete representation of futures positioning. Still, the fact that LIT is holding near $3.56 despite heavier visible selling suggests that buyers are currently absorbing meaningful supply.
The bigger risk comes from leverage. The screenshot shows 10× leverage with cross margin, and the account has 17.13 USDT available. In a coin moving more than 10% in a session, leverage can magnify both directions very quickly. The platform's displayed maximum position value is not a signal that the full amount should be used; position size should be based on how much downside can realistically be tolerated.
My bullish scenario is a successful defense of $3.55–$3.56, followed by a clean break above $3.57–$3.60. If buyers can establish $3.60 as support, the next momentum zones become $3.70 and $3.80. The strongest confirmation would be rising price with continued buying activity rather than a breakout occurring only because of short-term leverage.
The bearish scenario is rejection around $3.57–$3.60, followed by a loss of $3.55. That would bring $3.50 into focus. If $3.50 also fails, the current double-digit rally would need to be treated as a momentum spike that is undergoing a deeper correction rather than a clean continuation.
For me, the chart is short-term bullish but extended. The market has already delivered the first major move; now it needs confirmation. $3.55 is the key defense, $3.57–$3.60 is the breakout zone, and $3.70–$3.80 becomes the next upside area if the breakout holds. The next clean move will depend less on the size of the current green candle and more on whether LIT can convert resistance into support.
