#GateBTCSpotTradingRanks 2Globally
Yes, this move is noteworthy. According to CoinGlass data, during the rally where BTC rose above $75,000, Gate's BTC spot volume reached the #2 global level with approximately $1.381 billion, while ETH spot and ETH contract volumes were also in the top three.
If I were you, instead of chasing long positions at the top with FOMO after such a rapid breakout, I would be watching for sustained trading above 75K and the volume. The strong spot volume is particularly important in understanding that the rally wasn't solely driven by leveraged positions.
My scenario: If 75K holds as support, the upward movement could continue; however, short-term profit-taking is quite normal after such a sharp rise.
I think 75K is currently a significant support candidate, but it's too early to say it's a "definite new bottom."
After BTC broke 75K on August 21st, it reached around 79K; Today, it's around the 76K region, and a drop below 75K creates a serious liquidation risk. Current analysis based on CoinGlass data indicates a liquidation concentration of approximately $1.085 billion in long positions below 75K.
I would monitor the levels as follows:
* 75–76K: First and critical support. Daily closes above this level → the bullish structure is maintained.
* 72–75K: Potential retest zone if 75K is lost. The area around 73K, the previous breakout zone, is particularly important.
* 70–72K: My main defense zone in a deeper correction. A return here doesn't mean the current rally is completely over; it could also be a healthy retest of the breakout.
* 78–80K: If it is strongly breached again, the probability of the 70–72K scenario decreases, and the search for a new peak strengthens.
My main scenario: Hold above 75K → Retest of 78-80K. If 75K is clearly lost → a test of 72-73K, or even 70-72K, would not be surprising.
Especially since a significant portion of the recent rise was due to a short squeeze, it is much more important that 75K is protected not just by a wick, but by high volume.
This is not investment advice; it is a short-term technical scenario.
