Bitcoin’s price rose above $BTC for the first time since May following macroeconomic developments in the US, easing in the bond market, and signals of political support.
According to data, the global cryptocurrency market, including bitcoin, rose approximately 7.44% in 24 hours to reach $2.6trillion. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, also gained more than 9% over the past 24 hours, reaching its highest level since May 2026.

Analysts attributed the sudden surge in crypto assets to declining US Treasury yields, political support from the White House, and a wave of mass liquidations in the futures market

According to data, the global cryptocurrency market, including bitcoin, rose approximately 7.44% in 24 hours to reach $2.6 trillion. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, also gained more than 9% over the past 24 hours, reaching its highest level since May 2026.

One of the most important macroeconomic factors triggering the rally was the US Treasury Department’s announcement that it would increase its bond buyback program. While this move pushed US Treasury yields lower, it also drove the US dollar to its lowest level in the past three months. Easing in interest rates and the dollar accelerated investors’ shift toward alternative assets such as bitcoin.
