#XRP大漲16% XRP Momentum Is Back, So What Comes Next?
Today, August 23, 2026, XRP is trading around $1.47, with the latest data showing a 24-hour range around $1.43–$1.69 and approximately $12B–$16B in 24-hour volume depending on the market source. XRP is still showing an impressive ~47% weekly gain, meaning the recent rally has completely changed its short-term market structure.
The most important point for me is that XRP has moved from the $1.00 area to above $1.50 in only a few days. Recent market analysis describes the move as roughly a 53% rally from around $1 to $1.53, after XRP broke above the $1.44–$1.45 zone that had been acting as a major barrier.
So the question is no longer simply:
“Can XRP recover?”
The question is now:
“Can XRP hold this breakout and continue toward $1.70–$2.00?”
My Opinion Today
My bias is bullish, but I would not chase XRP blindly.
A move this fast can create two completely different opportunities.
For holders, the rally has created a chance to protect profits.
For traders who missed the move, the better opportunity may come from a pullback and retest rather than buying a vertical candle.
For me, the most important levels are:
$1.40–$1.45 — major support
$1.50 — key psychological breakout
$1.60 — first continuation target
$1.65–$1.70 — major resistance
$1.85–$1.90 — next upside zone
$2.00 — major psychological target
The $1.44–$1.45 area is especially important because XRP recently broke above it after spending much of the year below that zone.
My Top 3 Targets
Target 1: $1.60
If XRP can maintain momentum above $1.50, my first target is $1.60.
I would watch volume carefully here. If XRP reaches $1.60 and immediately gets rejected, I would expect some profit-taking.
But if buyers push through $1.60 and maintain higher lows, the next target becomes much more interesting.
Target 2: $1.70
My second target is $1.65–$1.70.
This is an important resistance region, and recent analysis also identifies $1.60 as a key resistance area before the larger move toward $2.
If XRP breaks $1.70 and successfully turns it into support, I would consider that a strong continuation signal.
Target 3: $1.90–$2.00
My bigger bullish target is $1.90–$2.00.
$2 is psychologically important, but I would not assume XRP will reach it in a straight line.
The healthier structure would be:
$1.50 → $1.60 → $1.70 → consolidation → $1.90 → $2.00
That would show the market is building a sustainable trend rather than simply experiencing a short-term squeeze.
My Trading Plan
If I were trading XRP today, I would avoid putting my full position into the market after such a strong rally.
My preferred setup would be:
Breakout → pullback → support confirmation → entry → risk management → partial profit.
If XRP holds $1.40–$1.45, I remain interested in the bullish structure.
If XRP breaks $1.50 and successfully retests it, I would consider that a stronger confirmation.
If XRP reaches $1.60–$1.70, I would consider taking partial profits rather than waiting for the perfect top.
And if XRP reaches $1.90–$2.00, I would become even more focused on protecting gains.
What If XRP Pulls Back?
I would not automatically panic.
After a move of this size, a correction is normal.
The question is not:
“Did XRP fall?”
The question is:
“Where did buyers return?”
If XRP pulls back toward $1.40–$1.45 and buyers strongly defend the area, that could actually create a healthier setup.
But if XRP loses $1.40 decisively and fails to reclaim it, I would become much more cautious.
A deeper move toward $1.30–$1.35 could then become possible.
So for me, $1.40 is an important line between bullish continuation and increased risk.
Why I Am Not Chasing
One of the biggest lessons from my own trading experience is that being bullish does not mean buying at any price.
When XRP moves 10%, 15% or 20% quickly, FOMO becomes extremely strong.
You start thinking:
“Maybe I should buy now before XRP reaches $2.”
But that is exactly when discipline matters.
I would rather miss part of the move than enter with an oversized position and get trapped in a sharp correction.
The market will always provide another setup.
Capital preservation comes first.
XRP Momentum Is Clearly Strong
The recent numbers show just how dramatic the recovery has been.
XRP has gained roughly 46%–48% over the past seven days, while recent data puts its market capitalization around $92B and daily trading volume in the multi-billion-dollar range.
That level of volume is important because a major breakout supported by strong market participation is generally more meaningful than a move occurring on very thin liquidity.
But strong volume also means strong volatility.
Today's traders should therefore expect both opportunities and sudden reversals.
My Bullish Scenario
My bullish roadmap is simple:
Hold $1.40–$1.45
↓
Reclaim $1.50
↓
Break $1.60
↓
Test $1.65–$1.70
↓
Break $1.70
↓
Target $1.85–$1.90
↓
Challenge $2.00
If this happens with higher lows and healthy consolidation, I would remain bullish.
My Bearish Scenario
If XRP repeatedly fails around $1.50–$1.60, momentum could weaken.
If $1.40 breaks decisively, I would reduce risk.
If $1.30 also fails, I would stop focusing on immediate $2 targets and wait for a new structure.
This is important because a trader should never become emotionally attached to a prediction.
If the chart changes, the plan must change.
My Advice to Traders
Don't chase the 16% move.
Don't use excessive leverage.
Don't enter with your entire capital.
Watch $1.40–$1.45 carefully.
Watch $1.50 for confirmation.
Watch $1.60–$1.70 for profit-taking and resistance.
Keep $1.90–$2.00 as the bigger bullish target.
And most importantly, decide your invalidation level before entering.
My personal approach is:
Bullish trend + patient entry + controlled risk + partial profits.
I don't need to catch the exact bottom.
I don't need to sell the exact top.
I only need to participate in the middle of a strong move while protecting my capital.
Final Verdict
The #XRP大漲16% move has clearly changed XRP's short-term structure.
From around $1.00 to above $1.50, XRP has delivered an extremely powerful recovery, and the latest data still shows strong weekly momentum.
My roadmap is:
Support: $1.40–$1.45
Breakout: $1.50
Target 1: $1.60
Target 2: $1.65–$1.70
Target 3: $1.90–$2.00
My bias remains bullish as long as the major support structure holds, but I would not chase XRP simply because it has already delivered a huge rally.
For me, the best confirmation would be:
$1.50 breakout + successful retest + higher low.
If XRP gets that structure, I would become more confident about the path toward $1.70 and potentially $2.00.
If $1.40 fails, I step back.
That's my trading philosophy after experiencing both winning and losing trades:
Don't trade your emotions. Trade your plan.
Don't chase the candle. Wait for the setup.
Don't risk the whole account for one prediction.
XRP has already shown us that the momentum is real.
Now the real question is whether bulls can turn this explosive move into a sustainable trend.
$1.50 is the battle.
$1.70 is the confirmation.
$2.00 is the bigger target.
