$84M IN CRYPTO LONGS JUST GOT WIPED OUT IN THE PAST HOUR

Bitcoin has fallen back below $76,000, triggering a wave of liquidations across the market.

This is what leverage does.

The move down forces longs to sell, which creates more selling pressure, which triggers more liquidations.

And suddenly a small move becomes a much bigger one.

That’s how leverage works: get the direction wrong and you go straight to zero.

This market is a meat grinder for leveraged longs. What you think is a minor pullback can actually trigger a cascade of liquidations until you question your entire life. So the old saying is always right: don’t use leverage; staying alive is the only way to have a chance.

Every time I see news about liquidations like this, I can’t help but laugh. Futures traders really do lose money fast, while spot traders actually hope prices drop further so they can buy the dip.
