My strongest pick from these three matches is Manchester City to beat Bournemouth.

Polymarket currently gives City roughly a 66% implied win probability, compared with about 20% for a draw and 16% for Bournemouth. The market has also attracted meaningful volume, so this is not just a very small-liquidity signal.

City are not without risks. They are starting a new era under Enzo Maresca after Pep Guardiola’s departure, lost the Community Shield 3-0 to Arsenal, and have defensive questions after failing to keep a clean sheet in six consecutive matches. Jeremy Doku is also unavailable. However, the matchup still strongly favors City: they are at the Etihad, have a major historical advantage over Bournemouth, and Bournemouth arrive with several absences and Ryan Christie suspended.

Liverpool is also favored against Newcastle, but I see considerably more uncertainty there.

Polymarket currently prices Liverpool around 52%, Newcastle around 25%, and the draw around 26%. Liverpool have squad changes and injury concerns, while Newcastle have home advantage and should make this a competitive game. A 2-1 Liverpool win is reasonable, but I would rank it below Manchester City for confidence.

PSG are another strong favorite, currently around 63% on Polymarket, but their situation is slightly unusual because the match has been moved from Parc des Princes to Rennes' Roazhon Park after heat damage affected the PSG stadium pitch. That removes some of the normal home-field advantage. PSG still have the stronger squad and are defending Ligue 1 champions, but Rennes have enough attacking threat to make this less comfortable than the headline odds suggest.

My final ranking is therefore: 1st Manchester City, 2nd PSG, 3rd Liverpool. For a single prediction, I would choose Manchester City.

My final score prediction: Manchester City 2-1 Bournemouth.

The reason I prefer 2-1 instead of a heavy City victory is that Bournemouth have shown they can score, while City's defensive transition is still a question under the new manager.

Independent previews also lean toward a 2-1 City victory and expect goals from both sides.

So my Polymarket-style prediction is Manchester City WIN. Confidence: around 7.5/10. Expected score: 2-1. Alternative score:

3-1. Upset scenario: 1-1 if Bournemouth successfully exploit City's defensive instability.
