XRP Is Back in the Spotlight: Is This the Start of a Bigger Rebound?

XRP has suddenly become one of the strongest performers in the crypto market, with the token jumping around 16% in 24 hours to approximately $1.29, while its weekly performance reached roughly +28%. At the same time, Bitcoin moved back above $75K and Ethereum also strengthened, showing that this is not only an XRP move but part of a broader crypto-market recovery.

For me, however, the most interesting part is XRP's relative strength. XRP was recently struggling around the $1 area, with the token even printing below $1 earlier this month. Moving from that weakness toward the $1.20–$1.30 region represents a significant change in short-term sentiment.

XRP's Latest Catalyst

One of the important catalysts behind today's move is the announcement that Ripple, Clearpool and Cicada Credit are launching an institutional lending platform on the XRP Ledger. The development has strengthened the narrative around XRP Ledger utility and institutional financial applications, helping XRP outperform several major cryptocurrencies during today's rally.

This is important because I believe XRP's long-term story is increasingly connected to real-world financial infrastructure rather than pure speculation.

If institutional lending, payments, tokenization and settlement continue expanding on the XRP Ledger, demand for the ecosystem could potentially grow over time. But I still want to see actual adoption and sustainable activity rather than relying only on headlines.

My Thoughts on XRP

My view has become short-term bullish but cautious after a 16% one-day move.

I like XRP's momentum, but I would not chase the price blindly after such a large candle. One of the biggest mistakes I have learned to avoid in trading is buying after a massive move simply because I am afraid of missing the next candle.

A strong rally can continue, but it can also experience profit-taking.

For me, the key question is:

Can XRP convert the $1.20–$1.25 region from resistance into support?

If the answer is yes, I believe the current rebound could have more room to develop.

My XRP Price Roadmap

At the current area around $1.29, these are the levels I am watching:

$1.30 — immediate psychological resistance

A clean breakout and hold above $1.30 could improve momentum.

$1.40 — first major upside target

From $1.29, this represents approximately +8.5%.

$1.50 — stronger momentum target

Approximately +16.3% from $1.29.

$1.70 — extended bullish target

Approximately +31.8%.

$2.00 — major psychological target

Approximately +55% from $1.29.

These are my scenario-based targets, not guaranteed prices.

My Pullback Plan

I would actually welcome a controlled pullback because it could create a better risk-to-reward setup.

My first area of interest would be:

$1.20–$1.25

If XRP returns to this zone and buyers defend it, I would consider that a potentially healthy retest.

A deeper correction toward:

$1.10–$1.15

would make me more cautious but could also create another opportunity if strong demand appears.

The $1.00 psychological level remains extremely important. XRP recently struggled around this area, so losing it again would significantly weaken my short-term bullish thesis.

My Trading Plan

I prefer to divide my planned capital rather than enter everything at once.

Entry 1 — 25%: around a confirmed support reaction.

Entry 2 — 25%: after XRP confirms a breakout and holds the new support.

Entry 3 — 25%: during a controlled pullback toward a major support zone.

Reserve — 25%: kept for unexpected volatility or a stronger opportunity.

If XRP breaks above $1.30 with strong momentum and successfully retests it, my first upside objective would be around $1.40.

If $1.40 breaks with strong volume, I would watch $1.50 next.

Above $1.50, the market could potentially accelerate toward $1.70, while $2.00 becomes the larger psychological target.

Profit-Taking Strategy

I don't believe in waiting for one perfect top.

If XRP reaches my targets, I prefer taking partial profits rather than closing the entire position immediately.

For example:

$1.40 → take some profit

$1.50 → take another portion

$1.70 → secure more profit

$2.00 → reassess the entire structure

If momentum remains exceptionally strong, I would keep a smaller remaining position open rather than trying to predict the exact top.

What Could Make XRP More Bullish?

There are several factors I am watching.

First is XRP Ledger institutional adoption. The new Ripple/Clearpool/Cicada Credit lending initiative adds to the utility narrative.

Second is broader crypto-market momentum. Bitcoin reclaiming $75K and the wider altcoin rally can create a much stronger environment for XRP.

Third is ETF/institutional demand. XRP investment products have already attracted substantial capital this year, although demand has fluctuated. Earlier data showed U.S. spot XRP ETFs had accumulated more than $1 billion in inflows since launch.

Fourth is the return of retail interest. A 16% daily move naturally brings XRP back onto traders' watchlists, which can increase liquidity and momentum.

The Risk I Am Watching

The biggest short-term risk is simple:

XRP has moved too quickly.

When an asset rises 16% in a single day, traders who bought lower may begin taking profits. If BTC also experiences a correction, XRP could give back part of today's gains.

Therefore, I would not consider the current move confirmation of a permanent trend reversal yet.

For me:

Above $1.25 → bullish structure remains interesting

Above $1.30 → stronger breakout confirmation

Above $1.40 → momentum becomes significantly stronger

Below $1.20 → caution

Below $1.10 → reassess

Below $1.00 → bullish short-term thesis becomes much weaker

My Final View

I believe XRP has delivered one of the most interesting rebounds of the current market move.

The combination of strong price momentum, renewed institutional-utility narratives and a broader crypto recovery makes XRP worth watching closely. Today's approximately 16% surge to around $1.29 is impressive, but I would rather see XRP build support after the rally than simply continue vertically.

My preferred roadmap is:

$1.29 → $1.40 → $1.50 → $1.70 → $2.00

My preferred entry approach is:

Wait for confirmation → scale in → protect capital → take partial profits → let the remaining position run if momentum stays strong.

I am bullish on the possibility of a larger XRP recovery, but I will not let FOMO control my trades.

The real test begins now:

Can XRP hold the $1.20–$1.30 region after today's explosive move?

If buyers can defend this area, I believe $1.40 and $1.50 could become the next important battlegrounds, with $1.70 and eventually $2.00 possible in a stronger bullish scenario.

This is my market view and trading framework, not a guarantee. Crypto remains highly volatile, so position sizing and risk management are essential.

My XRP plan: Don't chase the pump. Wait for the retest, confirm the trend, scale the position, and protect the profits.

What is your target for XRP?

$1.40, $1.50, $1.70, $2.00 — or are you expecting an even bigger move?
