Injective affiliate secures SEC transfer agent registration for tokenized securities

Injective has secured U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission transfer agent registration through its affiliate, Injective Institutional Services, adding a regulated securities ownership and recordkeeping function to its Layer 1 network as INJ rose about 8%.

Injective Institutional Services has become an SEC registered transfer agent.
The affiliate can maintain securities ownership records and process ownership changes.
The registration follows Injective’s SEC application disclosed in July.

With the SEC giving its stamp of approval, letting public blockchains manage the ledger records of tokenized securities certainly opens up huge possibilities.

After all that, it turns out an affiliated company obtained the license. Still, adding a regulated recordkeeping role to the L1 is tangible infrastructure.

This wave of compliance implementation is more meaningful than price gains or losses; not just anyone can become an SEC-registered transfer agent.

Is INJ heading toward becoming a standard institutional allocation? The 8% gain may just be an appetizer.

Up 8% and already calling it bullish? Let’s first see whether it can hold on tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, though the registration itself is worth praising.
