Bitcoin at $70K: Breakout or Short-Term Exhaustion?
Bitcoin is trading near the $70,000 psychological level after a powerful recovery and one of the strongest short squeezes seen in the recent market.

The key question now is not whether Bitcoin can touch $70K — it already has. The real question is whether BTC can hold above $70K and turn this major resistance into support.

Key levels to watch

Resistance:
$70,000 → $70,500 → $72,000–$73,000

Support:
$68,000–$68,500 → $66,500–$67,000 → $64,000–$65,000

The bullish scenario is straightforward. If Bitcoin achieves a strong 4-hour or daily close above $70K with sustained volume, the recent short squeeze could develop into a broader continuation move. A successful retest of $70K as support would strengthen the setup and could open the way toward $72K–$73K.

However, traders should not ignore the speed of this rally. Bitcoin has moved aggressively higher, and after a large liquidation-driven expansion, short-term consolidation or profit-taking would be completely normal.

If BTC rejects $70K and falls back below $68K with increasing selling volume, the market could enter a deeper retracement toward $66.5K–$67K. That level becomes especially important because holding it would keep the short-term bullish structure intact.

My current view is bullish but cautious.

$70K is the decision zone.
Above $70K with confirmation = potential continuation.
Below $68K = short-term cooling risk.
$66.5K–$67K = major structure test.

Now Bitcoin needs genuine demand to prove that this move is more than just a liquidation-driven spike.
