$UNITREE — after the 629% IPO surge, the real price discovery begins
Unitree Robotics delivered one of the most explosive IPO debuts of 2026. The company’s shares were offered at ¥150.80 and opened around ¥1,100, representing a 629.44% jump from the IPO price. The stock later closed around ¥845.
For traders following the UNITREEUSDT perpetual market, the important point is that these stock prices provide useful reference levels, but the perpetual contract trades independently in USDT. The market now has to determine whether the enormous IPO excitement can translate into sustained demand.
Using the approximate conversion from the stock prices, the major references are roughly:
$20.45 — IPO price equivalent
$114–$115 — first-day closing equivalent
$149 — first-day opening equivalent
The $114–$115 area is particularly important. If UNITREEUSDT can hold this region as support, establish higher lows and attract increasing volume on rebounds, it would suggest that buyers are still defending the current valuation.
A recovery toward $125–$130 would then become an important intermediate test. Above that, the $140–$149 region represents a much larger resistance zone because it corresponds approximately with the extraordinary opening valuation of the stock.
A sustained move above $149 with strong volume would show that buyers are attempting to reclaim the initial IPO euphoria.
But there is also a clear risk scenario.
If UNITREEUSDT repeatedly fails to recover $114–$115 and begins producing lower highs, the structure would become increasingly weak. A breakdown accompanied by expanding selling volume could indicate that early speculative demand is turning into distribution.
This is why volume matters so much here.
A price increase with expanding volume suggests stronger participation and gives the move more credibility. A price increase while volume fades can indicate weakening momentum.
The same applies on the downside. Heavy volume during a breakdown can confirm stronger selling pressure, while a low-volume decline may simply represent profit-taking or short-term consolidation.
Liquidity is another major factor.
Perpetual futures can react much faster than the underlying stock because traders use leverage and positions can be liquidated rapidly. After an event as extreme as a 629% IPO move, sudden wicks and sharp reversals should be expected.
That means traders should not assume that a huge move in either direction will continue in a straight line.
The fundamental story is also worth watching.
Unitree operates in robotics and humanoid/embodied AI, sectors receiving enormous attention from investors. The IPO reportedly raised around ¥6.1 billion, while retail demand was thousands of times larger than the shares available to that group.
However, the valuation also deserves attention.
Reports indicated that Unitree generated approximately ¥1.7 billion in revenue during 2025, while its market capitalization briefly approached roughly ¥444.9 billion around the opening price.
That represents extremely high expectations for future growth.
The technology opportunity may be significant, but traders still need to separate the long-term company story from short-term price speculation.
My key UNITREEUSDT map:
$114–$115 → important support/reference zone
$125–$130 → intermediate resistance
$140–$149 → major resistance and IPO-opening equivalent
Above $149 → stronger bullish confirmation if supported by volume
Below $114 → structure becomes increasingly vulnerable
The broader robotics sector is another factor I would monitor. If other robotics and AI-related assets also strengthen, it could provide additional confirmation for the theme. If Unitree rallies while the broader sector weakens, the move may be increasingly driven by company-specific speculation.
My view is simple: the 629% IPO surge created enormous attention, but the next phase is about price discovery.
The market now needs to prove whether buyers can defend the new valuation after the initial excitement fades.
For UNITREEUSDT, I would focus on price structure, volume, liquidity, open interest and funding rather than chasing the headline.
Above resistance with strong participation could strengthen the bullish case.
Below support with increasing selling pressure could signal deeper weakness.
Between those levels, expect volatility.
The biggest lesson from Unitree’s debut is that a powerful narrative can attract capital very quickly, but only sustained demand can justify an extreme repricing.
Watch the levels. Watch the volume. Let the market confirm the next move.
Not financial advice. UNITREEUSDT is highly volatile and perpetual futures can involve substantial liquidation risk.
