Haha, Ethereum was promoted the same way back then. Even when it was handed out at events, hardly anyone cared. At that time, let alone understanding blockchain, very few people had even heard the term “blockchain.” No one back then could have predicted Ethereum would achieve what it has today. The same goes for Pi: don’t hype it, but don’t smear it either, because the emergence of many things is itself beyond ordinary people’s understanding. For example, most people don’t know why what humans eat eventually becomes feces, or how feces is formed and where it comes from. To put it bluntly, even a pile of feces is beyond the cognitive range of most people, so it’s probably better to neither hype nor criticize it.
