#CrossChainRestaking

ETH is leaving Ethereum. Not to sell. To secure other chains.

"*Cross-chain restaking*" — 2026’s biggest shift. Use staked ETH to provide security for Solana, Cosmos, and app-chains. No need to bridge and sell.

"*Pick operator*" — your operator runs the validation for you. Check:
1. *Uptime*: 99.9%+ over 12 months
2. *Stake size*: Bigger = more skin in the game
3. *Commission*: 5-15% is normal. Too low = suspicious
4. *Decentralization*: Avoid operators with >20% of total stake
5. *History*: Any slashing events? Any downtime?

"*Cross-chain risks*" — new territory, new dangers:
- *Bridge risk*: Messages between chains can fail or be attacked
- *Slashing mismatch*: Rules on Chain B may be harsher than Ethereum
- *Latency*: Finality takes longer across chains
- *Reward risk*: Token from Chain B might crash vs ETH

*Upside*: ETH becomes the "global security layer". One asset secures the whole web3.

*Downside*: You’re exposed to bugs on 3 chains instead of 1.

Start with 1 cross-chain AVS. Learn it. Then scale.
