When you restake ETH, you’re not just "securing Ethereum". You’re insuring other protocols. Those are called AVSs.

"*AVS deep dive*" — Actively Validated Services. They rent Ethereum’s security instead of building their own validator set.

"*Exit LRT safely*" — want out? 2 ways in 2026:
1. *Swap*: Sell LRT for ETH on DEX. Fast, but check slippage + depeg
2. *Unstake*: Burn LRT → wait unbonding period → get ETH back. Slower, 1:1
Rule: Never exit during a slashing event or market panic

"*Other AVSs*" — beyond data availability:
- *Data Availability*: New L2s post data cheaply, secured by ETH
- *Oracles*: Price feeds that can be slashed for bad data
- *Bridges*: Cross-chain messengers with economic security
- *Sequencers*: Decentralized L2 sequencers
- *Compute*: ZK proof generation, AI inference networks

You pick which AVSs to secure. More AVSs = more yield. More yield = more slashing surfaces.

Restaking = you become the security vendor for web3.
