#GateJulyTransparencyReportReleased

Gate's July transparency report shows that the platform has now gone far beyond being a classic crypto exchange. Ranking fourth globally and receiving a Grade A rating from CoinDesk, Gate has achieved a trading volume of $35.8 billion in the spot market and $276 billion in futures. However, what's truly remarkable is the expansion of its product range beyond crypto. The platform now offers access to over 12,500 stocks and ETFs, making it a gateway to global markets through a single account.

The steps taken on the traditional finance side are quite concrete. Platform fees for US stocks and ETFs have been completely eliminated, and popular stocks like NVIDIA and Tesla have been tokenized at a 1:1 ratio and offered to users through the gStocks service. A copy trading feature has also been implemented for stocks, allowing users to automatically track the portfolios of successful investors. On the primary market side, the OpenAI project received over $260 million in demand, and direct participation in the Jersey Mike's IPO was possible. All these products are structured so that users can access them through a single unified account with USDT.

Another highlight of the report is RWA futures. In July, global volume in this area reached $460 billion, with Gate securing a 4.39% share, placing it third globally. The platform's own prediction market, Event Contracts, also achieved a record high, briefly exceeding 36% market share.

On the security front, the reserve ratio is at 117%. This means the platform has approximately $10.69 billion in excess reserves against user assets. Such ratios become a significant source of security for users, especially during challenging market conditions. Regarding regulation, the European Union's MiCA regulation came into effect in July. Gate Europe had already completed its MiCA and payment institution licenses well before this date. This demonstrates that the platform is one of the most prepared institutions in the sector, not only in terms of transaction volume but also in terms of operational reliability and compliance.

In summary, Gate’s July report reveals that the platform is no longer just a crypto exchange, but has become a growing ecosystem encompassing traditional finance products, pre-IPO investments, and RWAs. A 117% reserve requirement ratio and MiCA compliance confirm this expansion is built on a solid foundation, while the ability for users to access global asset classes through a single platform can be seen as part of a long-term strategy.
