📉 Bitcoin Falls for a Third Straight Day — The Breakout Story Is Losing Steam
Bitcoin is having another important session today.
BTC has fallen for a third consecutive day, with the price recently around $63,322, as the market’s earlier breakout optimism continues to fade. The move has pushed Bitcoin back below technical levels that traders had been watching after last week’s stronger close.
What makes this market interesting is that Bitcoin isn’t collapsing — it is struggling to establish direction.
That difference matters.
A market can remain bearish in the short term without entering a major downtrend, just as a few green candles don’t automatically confirm a new bull run.
Right now, traders are balancing several forces: macroeconomic expectations, Federal Reserve policy, liquidity and the behavior of institutional capital.
The recent weekly ETF picture was actually quite strong, with U.S. spot crypto ETFs attracting more than $1.3 billion in net inflows, including about $853.5M for Bitcoin products and $244.9M for Ethereum products.
So despite today’s weakness, the bigger institutional picture is not simply “money is leaving crypto.”
That’s why the next confirmed BTC move could be important.
Will buyers defend the current range and restart the breakout attempt — or will sellers take control?
For now, I’m watching price confirmation rather than chasing the noise. 👀🔥
