According to the New York Times, the official Trump meme coin has resulted in $2bn losses for investors while benefiting insiders:
🟠The Trump family and various partners have collected nearly $100m in trading fees, with most of it still unclaimed
🟠Trump launched the coin just three days before taking office, raising concerns that it was a priority for his presidency
🟠Data from Nansen, Chainalysis, and researcher Molly White revealed that at least one account purchased $1.1m in TRUMP just three hours before its official launch
