Ripple and Ondo Finance Partner to Bring Tokenized US Government Bonds to the XRP Ledger
Ripple Labs and Ondo Finance have announced a partnership to bring tokenized US Treasury securities to the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The collaboration is reportedly set to integrate Ondo Finance's $185 million worth of US Treasury tokens, OUSG, into the enterprise-focused blockchain network over the next six months.
In a press release dated January 28, Ripple Labs confirmed its new venture with the tokenized real-world asset (RWA), stating that Ondo Short-Term U.S. Government Treasuries (OUSG) will be backed by BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL).
Ripple and @OndoFinance bring tokenized US Treasuries to the XRP Ledger.
