On November 15th, according to Jinten's report, on November 14th local time, Musk retweeted the recruitment announcement of the newly created @DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) account on his X account and wrote: "It has begun." The announcement reads: "We don't need people who only offer partial ideas, we need 'small government' revolutionaries with extremely high intelligence (super high IQ) who are willing to work more than 80 hours per week. Please send your resume via private message to this account. Elon and Vivek will review the top 1% of applicants." Musk also retweeted other X users' posts mentioning the announcement and commented: "Indeed, this will be tedious work, it will create many enemies, and the pay will be zero."
