Part1. Overview of Election Day Process
Beijing time November 5th 13:00 (US Eastern time November 5th 00:00):
- Residents of two towns in New Hampshire were the first to vote.
Starting from 19:00 on November 5th Beijing time (6:00 on November 5th Eastern Time in the United States):
- Most of the polling stations in the United States are gradually opening, and the election officially begins.
Beijing time November 6th, 8:00-11:00:
- The polling stations in each state began to gradually close, and the vote counting started step by step.
Part2. Swing state polling station closing time (Beijing time, November 6th)
- Wisconsin: 10:00
- Michigan: 9:00/10:00*
-Georgia: 8:00
-North Carolina: 8:30
- Nevada: 11:00**

November 6 - December 11: Certification of election results in each state.
December 17th: The Electoral College begins voting officially.
January 6, 2025: The U.S. Congress convenes to tally and certify the electoral votes.
January 20, 2025: The new president of the United States is officially inaugurated.
