Data compiled by Galaxy Research shows that venture capital investment in Crypto Assets and Blockchain startups has seen a significant rise after three consecutive quarters of decline. In the first quarter of 2024, venture capitalists injected $2.49 billion into 603 deals at encryption startups, raising 29% more than the previous quarter and 68% more deals than the previous quarter. Several factors influenced the investment dynamics during the quarter, including the launch of Bitcoin exchange exchange-traded funds (ETF), innovations in areas such as re-mortgages, modularity and Bitcoin second-tier solutions, as well as macroeconomic factors such as Intrerest Rate.
