PANews, July 29: According to Caixin, the South Korean stock market weakened today. The leveraged product “South Funds 2x Long” for SK Hynix also fell significantly. As of the midpoint close of trading in Hong Kong stocks, the product’s intraday decline reached 25.72%, and its decline since July has already reached 81.05%. According to Eastmoney data, the product’s latest assets under management are HK$31.92 billion, shrinking by 70% compared with its peak size. Another leveraged product under Southern Dongying, linked to Korean chip stocks, also dropped sharply: as of the midpoint close of trading in Hong Kong stocks, the intraday decline for “South Funds 2x Long” on Samsung Electronics was 16.56%, and the decline for the month was 69.55%.
