JieJie News reports that the total crypto market capitalization fell 2.8% over the past 24 hours, dropping to $2.24 trillion. Major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum both declined. Bitcoin fell by about 2.7%, to $63,400, while Ethereum dropped by more than 3.2%, to $1,874. In addition, South Korean tech stocks plunged, with the KOSPI index crashing 10%. The market is concerned about the upcoming FOMC meeting by the Federal Reserve, and the likelihood of further rate hikes rose from 10% last week to 37%. This uncertainty has intensified investors’ cautious sentiment toward crypto and tech stocks.
