PANews July 29 news, citing Jint 10, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister said that Iran’s policy is that the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its pre-war state. If ships are allowed to pass through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz, our sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz will become a mirage. We have informed France and the UK that any deployment of their warships in the Strait of Hormuz for the purpose of mine clearance will make those warships legitimate targets for attack.
