⚠️ SparkKitty, a malware that tries to steal crypto wallet seed phrases.
This malicious software, identified on iOS and Android, has hidden itself in certain applications, including apps distributed via the App Store and Google Play.
Once installed, it requests access to your photo gallery and then scans the images for seed phrases, passwords, or other sensitive information in order to compromise your crypto wallets.
🔒 To protect yourself:
- Never store your seed phrase as a photo or screenshot on your phone.
- Also delete any copies stored on a cloud service.
-Give access to your gallery only to trusted apps.
- Regularly check your apps’ permissions and uninstall those that seem suspicious.
