BitFuFu Inc. (NASDAQ: FUFU) appeared yesterday as a sponsor at Booth 863 of the Bitcoin 2026 conference. IR Vice President Charley Brady took part in a roundtable discussion titled "Computing power is declining—does hosted mining fill the gap?" On April 16, the company officially launched its ANTMINER S21 XP hosted mining service: fee rate $9.5/TH/s, hosted fee as low as $0.068/kWh, the lowest level to date for the company. S21 XP specifications: 270 TH/s, efficiency 13.5 J/TH. Customers use their own mining rigs and collect their own earnings, with no lock-up period. March monthly report (April 10): produced 214 BTC that month (43 self-mined + 171 cloud-mined); holdings of 1,794 BTC (including 357 BTC pledged as loan collateral); total managed hash rate of 25.9 EH/s (up 25.7% year over year); power used 457 MW; sold 80 BTC in March. FY2025 full-year revenue $475.8M (up about 29% year over year). Cloud-mining revenue grew 29.4%, and adjusted EBITDA was $8.30 million.

Bitcoin Bancorp, Inc. (OTC: BCBC) management attended the Bitcoin 2026 conference, focusing on two strategic items: authorization negotiations for Bitcoin ATM base patents (US9135787 and US10332205, covering ATM transaction processing and user registration agreement protocols); and a hardware wallet integration plan in cooperation with Tangem—after users buy Bitcoin at the ATM, they can transfer it to a Tangem cold wallet immediately, reducing reliance on custody. The company is one of only three publicly listed Bitcoin ATM network operators in the U.S. It is also working with Sailo Technologies to develop an institutional Bitcoin treasury management platform for banks and listed companies (including AI exception detection and MPC key management). Testing has already opened.

Market Perspective

On the first day of the Bitcoin 2026 conference, BTC touched $79,000, and SEC Chairman Atkins attended for the first time in history, marking the public confirmation that Bitcoin’s identity has shifted from a "regulatory enforcement target" to an "official regulatory dialogue counterpart." With BitFuFu entering at a hosted-mining fee rate of $9.5/T, this most directly commercializes the industry logic in the current computing power downcycle: "hosted mining makes up for the shrinkage of self-built mining farms."
