Crypto market liquidations in the past 24 hours exceed $600 million, with Hyperliquid accounting for nearly 30%, second only to Binance

PANews July 28, according to CoinGlass data, in the past 24 hours, the global crypto derivatives market saw about 131.3k traders liquidated, with a total liquidation amount of about $608 million. Of this, long positions accounted for about $511 million, and short positions for about $96.69 million, with longs representing about 84%. By exchange, Binance had liquidations of about $236 million, Hyperliquid about $181 million, and OKX about $52.85 million, with all mainly driven by forced liquidation of long positions. The largest single liquidation occurred on the Hyperliquid platform in the XYZ:SKHX-USD contract, amounting to about $24.61 million. The data also shows that BTC and ETH remain the highest-value assets by liquidation amount, and current market leverage has significantly raised long-position risk.
