Tether signs an MoU with the Nairobi Securities Exchange to advance Africa’s digital asset infrastructure and education

PANews July 28 news, according to Tether’s official website, Tether announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in Kenya to cooperate in areas including digital asset education, asset tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure. The two parties plan to provide capital markets and digital asset training for brokers and retail investors, and use the Hadron platform to explore securities tokenization, instant settlement, and access to fractionalized investments. This cooperation will also assess the feasibility of using USD₮ as a potential digital settlement layer to improve liquidity, shorten the current three-tier settlement cycle, and optimize AML/KYC processes, subject to compliance with local regulations.
