Apple plans to launch a new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini, and an AI smart home hub
PANews July 28, according to Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch a new Apple TV 4K set-top box and HomePod mini, and develop a smart home hub centered on the new version of Siri. The hardware for the new Apple TV and HomePod mini is said to be largely complete, but Apple previously delayed the release while waiting for the AI version of Siri to be ready. The upgrade focus is expected to include a more powerful processor and wireless connectivity chip, rather than major changes to the appearance. The smart home hub is expected to be equipped with a display screen for controlling home devices, viewing camera feeds, and running Siri functions, but the exact release timeline may still be adjusted.
