Everyone says that I married a nearly perfect husband, but I know he doesn’t love me…

From a girl’s personal account..
After we got married
He gave me a bank card
Every month, he would reliably deposit 20,000
He never asks what I spend it on
Every year, we travel
The itineraries, hotels, and schedules are all arranged by him
We almost never fought over these things
(Where most couples would fight, we didn’t)
When my parents were hospitalized
He stayed by their bedsides, found doctors, arranged checkups—he accompanied them the whole time
And every year, he would proactively take them for checkups
My friends and family all like him
Even my mother often says:
“The biggest stroke of luck in your life is that you married the right person.”
(My mother also said: “What does your husband even like about you?” 😤 My dad said: “If you dare to divorce him, I won’t let you off!” 😤)
Everyone thinks so.
I’m the happy one,
but only I know
He is an almost perfect husband,
but not a truly loving husband
He almost never talks to me about his past
He won’t tell me about the pressure at work
He doesn’t share the grievances in his heart
He handles everything very well
Except—he hides himself very well
Once
His work pressure was especially heavy
Every night, he stayed in the study working late
I was afraid his stomach would get bad, so I cooked him soup
He said:
“No need.”
I said:
“Then I’ll stay with you.”
He said:
“Go to sleep.”
That night, I couldn’t hold back my tears
I asked him:
“I’m your wife.”
“Shouldn’t I share the burden with you?”
After a few seconds of hesitation, he only softly said two words:
“Thank you.”
It made me feel like a person
can do everything a husband is supposed to do
Take care of the home
Take care of his parents
Bear responsibilities
Provide a sense of security
Yet still never hand over their inner self to you
Because before I even dated him
I had seen him in the university campus when he was dating other girls,
back then, there was light in his eyes
He would also spend hours on the road just to meet someone.
He could be happy all day over a single sentence
And he could also lie awake all night after a fight..
But those things are no longer happening to me..
Do you think that someone who does their responsibilities to the full score, yet still refuses to open up their heart to their partner—does that count as love?
