Not too much to worry about the orders holding positions.
It’s just that my current position size is already very large.
There’s no way to add more.
BTC, ETH—US stocks—are basically at the edge of the framework boundaries,
as well as at the most crowded peak price levels.
This kind of position allows for volatility,
and it gives an expectation of a downside dip.
The daily close and the performance this evening are the biggest issues right now.
As long as we can hold on and keep the choppy upward move for now,
there’s still a chance to break even and even be in profit.
At 9:30, I’ll look at how US stocks perform after the open.
If it gives a strong reaction,
then I’ll take another shot and try again,
putting the remaining position into it.
Currently the drawdown is about 26% of total positions.
If the order gets stopped out due to a break,
then this loss would basically give back more than half of the profit from the previous rebound segment.
I’d be down a little on the principal.
Before opening the trade, I had already thought of this.
Betting the profit and letting it affect my mindset probably isn’t too big an issue.
It’s purely just to annoy people.
Thinking about betting on a breakthrough and a clean continuation,
but every time it ends up like this.
Altcoins doing rollovers (rolling over positions) always end with the same conclusion.
Hard to put into words…
I wanted to catch a small trend move.
Could it be that crypto is really dead?
This trade fits my logic,
but people can’t outthink the sky—whether the market cooperates
depends entirely on whether the timing gives us something to eat.
The only thing I did poorly
was that altcoins shouldn’t have such a large position size.
Otherwise, if the price drops,
altcoin trades become hard to exit.
I would only be able to set orders to close, but the bid-ask spread is too big.
