ME News, April 28 (UTC+8): Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has already signed a law prohibiting the use and installation of cryptocurrency ATMs and self-service terminals in the state. Relevant companies must complete compliance work within a few weeks. Under the signed “Tennessee House 05” enacted by Lee, from now on, installing cryptocurrency self-service terminals will be treated as a Class A misdemeanor. Under this law, such devices are reclassified as illegal, and operators and businesses providing premises for the equipment may face up to 11 months and 29 days in prison and a $2,500 fine.
