Analyst: Spot Bitcoin trading volume has fallen 75% from the end of 2024 to the lowest level since the 2023 bear market.

PANews July 28日消息,CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said that the spot trading volume of Bitcoin on major exchanges has fallen by more than 75% compared with the end of 2024. Binance’s trading volume in July exceeded $35B, far below $246 billion in November 2024; Bybit plunged 85%, Coinbase fell 61%, and OKX fell 67%, the lowest level since the later period of the 2023 bear market. The analyst noted that the escalation of the conflict between Iran and the US has suppressed risk sentiment, inflation has raised concerns about high interest rates, and the stock market continues to absorb liquidity—all of which are unfavorable for speculative assets. For Bitcoin to return to a bullish trend, a shift in the macro landscape and a return of demand are needed.
