Apple has returned to the top ranks of company market value, as investors believe Apple has the potential to become the future personal intelligence infrastructure. The core of future competition may no longer be simply “selling devices,” but rather who can become the foundational gateway between people and the digital world. Apple is building a complete capability system around the person through iPhone, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, iCloud, AI, and more: perceiving the person’s environment and body, verifying the person’s identity, recording the person’s memories, understanding the person’s needs, and ultimately helping the person carry out actions. So the market is not betting on how many units the next-generation iPhone can sell; it’s betting on this: if AI becomes the central assistant for everyone in the coming decades, then whoever has the richest personal data, the strongest device entry point, and the highest user trust may become the center of the next computing platform. Apple’s future goal may not be a hardware ecosystem, but rather to become a personal intelligence operating system that understands people, serves people, and stays with them.
