The 4% Window Is Open. But for a Limited Amount of Capital

Gate has increased the rates on its VIP-exclusive fixed-term savings. Now the 30-day USDT product gives you 4% APY and the 7-day term gives you 3.8% APY. These quotas are limited. Are filled on a first-come first-served basis. When the allocation is gone you can no longer get the rates.

What the Terms Actually Deliver

These products are fixed-term. You put your USDT in for either seven or thirty days. Get the stated annualized rate. There is no change in the rate and no guarantee if you take your money out early. The 30-day rate at 4% is currently the option inside the VIP tier and the 7-day rate at 3.8% gives you more flexibility if you need your capital sooner.

Why the Quota Matters

A higher rate that you can get much as you want is different from a higher rate that has a limit. The limited quota means you have to think about when to put your money in, not the rate. If you put your money in after the allocation is filled you do not get the terms. This limit is on purpose. Changes how you should decide how much to put in.

How I’m Allocating

I use these fixed-term slots for my USDT that I do not need to use. If I think I will need my USDT in the week the 7-day term is better. If I can leave my USDT for a month the 4% thirty-day rate is a better choice. I am not moving my USDT that I expect to use. The interest is only good if I do not need my USDT for something

Practical Framing

The difference between 3.8% and 4% is not big if you have an amount of USDT.. It makes a difference when you have a lot of idle USDT and it would not earn anything otherwise. The limited quota is the problem. When it is filled you cannot get the rate no matter how good it looks.

This is a way to get a better return, on your idle USDT but it has clear terms and a limit. I am treating it as a way to get a better return, not something that will last. Everything else depends on what you need and how risk you are willing to take.
