Bitmine now has an amount of Ethereum about 5.787 million ETH. This is one of the corporate Ethereum positions ever. The company, which is listed on Nasdaq has been quietly building up its Ethereum treasury. The Ethereum it has is worth about $11.3 billion. This is 4.8% of all the Ethereum that is available.

The company is using something called the MAVAN validator network to stake 4.91 million ETH. This is 85% of its total Ethereum position. From this it is estimated that Bitmine will get about $254 million every year. The company wants to make sure its Ethereum is being used productively than just sitting there.

Bitmine has been buying Ethereum every week since it started its Ethereum reserve strategy in June 2025. Last week it bought another 9,946 ETH. The company is buying Ethereum at a pace rather than trying to buy it all at once.

The companys total assets are now about $11.8 billion. Most of this is the Ethereum it has so how well the company does depends on the price of Ethereum and the staking yield.

Bitmine is close to its goal of having 5% of all Ethereum. It still needs to buy a bit but it is getting close. The company may keep buying Ethereum every week until it reaches its goal or it may change its strategy once it gets there.

It is worth noting that one company having 5% of all Ethereum and staking 85% of it is a big deal. The $254 million the company will get every year from staking is like a stream of income. The fact that Bitmine has been buying Ethereum every week since 2025 shows that it is committed to its strategy.

I think the important things to look at are how much Ethereum the company has, how much it is staking and how steadily it is buying more. Everything else is not as important until these things change.
