#Bitmine持有578万枚ETH A sharp sell-off in the early hours wiped out $400 million. The bulls already handed over short-term control in that bearish candle from the early morning.

📉 Market snapshot (08:00 UTC+8 quick read)

• BTC: $63,200 / 24h -2.37% | Range $63,605–$65,744 | 24h volume $9.62B

• ETH: $1,875 / 24h -3.14% | Range $1,882–$1,981 | Volume $6.66B

• SOL: $74.19 / 24h -3.12% | Range $73.74–$77.50

• BNB: $565.7 / 24h -1.65% (all four major coins weakened across the board)

⏱️ Key timing: From the hourly chart, after BTC had been oscillating tightly between $64,800–$65,500 for nearly 18 hours, a bearish hourly candle at 00:00 UTC (08:00 Beijing time) smashed through $64,000, hitting a low of $63,605. The hourly drop was about 1.7%, and volume expanded to $72M+—a classic “final washout wave before the Asia session opens.”

🌐 Today’s main focus:
1. Risk-off ahead of the Fed window. Citadel Securities publicly said this week that Fed chair Warsh will choose to hike rates. Coupled with Reuters’ warning that “the Fed’s patience will erode credit”—the market has started pricing in no rate cuts.

2. ETF flows out for two consecutive days. BTC spot ETFs have cumulatively seen outflows of $465M+; institutional bid support is temporarily cooling off.

3. This week’s super central bank week: Fed, BoE, and BoJ rate decisions will be released in dense succession within 48 hours, alongside the US Q2 GDP—any upside surprises will amplify volatility.

I believe this leg down isn’t a “bull market pullback,” but rather proactive de-risking ahead of the macro risk window. After BTC lost $64,000, near-term support is $63,000 (the round number) and the $61,800 prior range. After ETH breaks $1,900, support below is $1,850. The real directional choice most likely has to wait for FOMC to land—

If it’s hawkish and they hold or hike: $60K is the ultimate test, and alts will likely bottom before BTC.

If it’s dovish with rate cuts or hints of easing: within this week there’s a chance to quickly reclaim $65,500.

My strategy: I won’t buy the left side; I’ll wait until the FOMC “shoe drops,” then decide whether to catch the knife based on whether ETF fund flows return.
