When the screen is full of green lights, the biggest fear isn’t misreading the direction—it’s seeing the price start falling and then rushing in at the last minute. A few days ago, in the afternoon, $LTC was still consolidating near the high. It looked like it was holding steady, but in reality each rebound was weaker than the last. The buy orders couldn’t keep it up, while sell orders always stayed on top pressing it down.

I was watching $LTC’s upper performance closely then, and I set a long around 53.67. The reasoning wasn’t complicated: the rally lacked volume, the support was light, and the “false breakout to lure longs” vibe was strong. Once the price lost a key level, any pullback would be more decisive than a rebound.

Now it’s at 46.26, and when I replay the trade results, it’s +982.29%: the short got closed out, and it feels so good.

Position management is decisive—no dragging it out. I first closed 80%, and kept the remaining 20% to protect break-even. If it keeps dropping further, I’ll continue monitoring the profit room. If it bounces back, I won’t let the gains feel bad. Don’t be greedy for the last bite—only what you can take with you counts as yours.

Risk control done ahead of time is called being rational. Cutting your loss after you’re already down is called “heroic severance.” For friends who haven’t entered yet, listen to me: don’t chase the drop just because of the percentage, and wait for the next round at a more comfortable level.
