ME News, April 28 (UTC+8), Tuesday: Asian stock markets are expected to open weak, with investors shifting their attention to earnings reports from U.S. tech giants with a combined market value of nearly $1.6 trillion. Walter Todd, president and chief investment officer of Greenwood Capital Associates, said that the U.S. stock market has rebounded to record highs and appears to be ignoring still-existing geopolitical risks, largely due to raised earnings expectations and improved market sentiment. He warned that if optimistic expectations show cracks, it would pose a major risk to market direction. (Source: ChainCatcher)
