ME News update, April 28 (UTC+8), Tuesday—Asian stock markets are expected to open weak, with investors turning their attention to the earnings reports of major U.S. technology giants with a combined market value of nearly $16 trillion. Walter Todd, President and Chief Investment Officer of Greenwood Capital Associates, said the U.S. stock market has rebounded to record highs and appears to have not been swayed by still-existing geopolitical risks, largely due to raised earnings expectations and improved market sentiment. He warned that if optimism fractures, it would pose a major risk to the market’s direction. (Source: ChainCatcher)
