If You Had to Build a Portfolio Today, What Would It Look Like?
Imagine this.
You wake up tomorrow with a fresh portfolio.
No bags to defend.
No emotional attachment.
No regret from past trades.
Just a clean slate.
How would you allocate your capital?
Would you go all in on Bitcoin?
Would Ethereum still be your second-largest holding?
Would you take a chance on AI, RWAs, DeFi, or prediction markets?
Or would you avoid crypto altogether and allocate part of your portfolio to U.S. or Hong Kong stocks?
I like asking myself this question from time to time because it forces me to separate my current holdings from my current convictions.
Those aren't always the same thing.
Sometimes we keep holding an asset simply because we've owned it for a long time.
Not because we'd choose to buy it today.
Rebuilding a portfolio from scratch is a useful mental exercise.
It helps reveal whether you're investing based on fresh conviction or old habits.
Markets evolve.
Narratives change.
Our portfolios should evolve too.
So here's my question to the Gate Square community:
If you were building a portfolio from scratch today, how would you allocate it?
I'd love to compare ideas and learn how others are thinking about today's market.
